What is better than a surprise engagement on Christmas Day? December in Georgia has been a rainy and wet one this year, but we still managed some beautiful shots of these two lovebirds. Congratulations to Stephanie and Nick and all the best in the upcoming months….wedding planning!:)<3

Go GOLD

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and Whitney Gossling Photography is going GOLD. Book a session – meaning all you have to do is put down a $50 deposit – in the month of September and $100 of the $350 session fee will be donated to the Amanda Riley Foundation.

While other organizations help fund childhood cancer research (which is awesome and much needed!), the Amanda Riley Foundation works on a personal level with children and their families who are currently IN the fight with the disease. The emotional, psychological and financial toll that comes with cancer is overwhelming. The foundation helps with anything from bringing meals to the hospital for families who cannot leave their kids, to toys and goody bags that help brighten another dreary day in treatment, or even taking care of Christmas and other holidays for families too burdened by the fight with cancer. It’s the little things that make a huge difference.

Childhood cancer became a part of the Gossling family summer 2014, and since then, my eyes have been opened to the lack of support and funding for these kids and their families. I’m not made of money (who is, right?) but if I can, in a small way, help through my talent in photography – I will. I feel that it is the best thing I have to offer right now. So I’m asking you to help me help the kids.

Go to the CONTACT bar above or email us at whitney@wg-photo.com for inquiries and to book. To donate, your session does not have to take place in September – only the deposit to secure a session date.

Newborn babies make any heart happy. I can look past the dirty diapers and fussiness because they are just so tiny, beautiful, and pure – not to mention ADORABLE! And they smell amazing. Seriously. You know that newborn baby smell? You can’t beat it.

Meet baby Hudson…

Athens Photographer

With UGA graduation coming up, I have been given the opportunity of spending more time on campus for graduation pictures. I didn’t attend UGA, but I have found a love for the beauty and feel of Athens, GA. Walking around downtown Athens is adorable. Shops. Cafes. Boutiques. UGA north campus is full of hidden gardens that make me feel like I should be heading to an english tea party. Splashing in Herty Fountain is a must! And the magnolia trees – Oh the magnolia trees! I have no idea how old they must be, but their enormous canopies of drooping branches are a wonder!

..And I am SO loving editing my senior sessions…

Go Dawgs!
